Mix Masturbation Art(MMA)

Mix Masturbation Art (MMA) project is a fine art self-portrait that represents the vulgarism of every human being who is stuck in a cage and fighting to be alive like the Mix Martial Arts (MMA) sport. Last month, when I was watching a UFC fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor on TV, I noticed that everybody has a wild soul inside themselves which would like to exude itself. I feel today, that media advertise them boldly instead of avoiding the spread. We rarely see a scientist or an artist on TV who spends their life making the world nicer on TV, but they share too much violence in the news, sports, and movies. They usually show the wars and the terrorist groups such as ISS and Taleban, but they seldom describe the poor people who are dominated by these groups. I feel the value of humanity is based on how much they kill humanitarianism. Many young people follow celebrities who are so rich in social media, and they learn to enjoy this kind of wild evacuation instead of learning how to be against violence.  

In this project, my shadow represents fighting with myself, and the box composition conveys the all media which are spreading violence. Also, for presentation, according to the UFC fighting, I added a fence on the top layer of the frame in the presentation to achieve the captive feeling for the viewer. As a result, I need to have a studio to print and install my frames.
